If you are concerned about big-brother google watching you, why are you using a browser built with their tools? Also, suppose multi-account containers, which is a massive security boost.

I've used Evernote and Joplin in the past, Obsidian gives me more flexibility than I had with Joplin, and isn't cost-prohibitive like Evernote.

It's like the default client, but it's better is most every way. AND you don't have to share your credentials with them!

I'm still getting familiar with it, but it holds a bunch of promise. Only drawback I've had so far is that authenticating can be difficult if you're using Multi-Account Containers in your Firefox.
